Our Story   

"DO A DEAL WITH DOTTIE!" Is a tag line my husband came up with as the real estate journey began. Brain storming at friend’s home one evening after I passed my license test started the planning process. Deciding a different approach than the norm for the area…out side of the box became my goal. Yes, we’ve taken some ribbing but most all in good fun.

My family and I have been an involved part of this community for way over 20 years. We didn’t just blow in here from Timbucktwo and expect to “take over”. Our sincere efforts to leave behind a better place when we are gone are an accepted and expected principle we live by. I have been very blessed by a supportive network of neighbors and friends. These people know how truly humbled and grateful I am for the friendship and support they give me. It does take a village to raise a child and anyone reading this, let me tell you first hand, this “village” that encompasses the Rough River region and far into Breckinridge and Grayson County, is a wonderful place to raise your children and become part of the love and support that has been abundant to us.

Now back to the real estate. Frankie Anthony and my husband talked me into becoming a real estate agent. I didn’t think with all my other responsibilities I had time to leave, go to school, study like crazy and then begin a new career. I never expected the impact this would have on my life. When God opens a door you never know what you are walking into. I think I have died and gone to Heaven……well some days!

I did my intern with Frankie and when our youngest son, Josh, surprised me with his sales associate’s license we knew it was time to go on our own. Hence REAL DEAL REALTY, LLC was born. Again that outside of the box thinking kicked in and this is what I felt led to name the business. Of course we will live by the name and do our best to help you find a REAL DEAL.

There will be people from all over the continent reading this FYI. Yes, we’ve decided southerners are kinda wordy and go on and on but, that’s who I am, where I am coming from, and it will be the same today, tomorrow and whenever. The only time it won’t be is when you see me in WalMart and my husband is waiting on me and I GOTTA GO!!!!
